The Village of Bedford Park Public Works Department is assigned the task of maintaining the village streets, sidewalks, trees, alleys, sewers, garbage removal services, and all other Village owned buildings and grounds areas. The department also oversees special projects and events as needed.

Street sweeping is a daily operation during the summer months and is done on Thursday and Friday in the residential area. When the no-parking sign is in place, all residents are kindly asked to remove their vehicles from that side of the street between the hours of 8 a.m. and 12 p.m. for efficient cleaning.

Snow removal is also a duty of the Public Works Department and vehicles must be removed from street parking when snowfall reaches 2 inches or more.
