CAER Facilitator: Paul Zwijack Phone: 708-458-2067 Introduction |
Bedford Park Community Awareness Emergency Response (CAER) was formed in 1990 with its intent to meet the goals under the American Chemistry Council Response Care Program. The CAER activities do remain synonymous with our name (community awareness & emergency response), however our focus has expanded to cover issues such as environmental, health, safety, and security, and various operational issues specific to Bedford Park companies.
Mission Statement
Our mission is to leverage learnings through information exchange of neighboring companies and municipal members.
About Us
The Group is comprised of over 15 companies with operations in Bedford Park and continues to attract new members. While our strength is in the number of members, the Group also receives participation from the Village Fire and Police Departments. They provide a valuable resource from facility security to emergency response issues for all members involved. CAER meets on the second Tuesday of each month at various member locations or at the Bedford Park Village Hall.
